You are the only person I know of who uses tapes still. I'd say, at a wild guess less that 1 person in a hundred would ever use a tape deck in their car, and maybe 1 in 500 or 1000 rugalarly. Why on earth would any manufacturer install these in cars new cars now?
I agree about ripping them to MP3. That way they are usable on modern technology

and won't detariorate/snap like tapes do. Or so I've heard.
