I have recently finished "The Ultramarines Omnibus" by Graham McNeill and it was really rather good. Inspired by the Games Workshop Warhammer 40k franchise (those littel metal figures that young'un's paint) by far beyond anything a child should read. Extremelt blood thirsty and very graphic in its descriptions. Fantastic book (3 stories about the same Ultramarine Captain)

My lad (12) is into them big time - to the point where I took him up to the Games Workshop HQ in Nottingham for his birthday
