What I did with the no-more-nails strips is make the strip cover the entire back of the badge then using a stanley-knife, just go around the perimiter thus covering the entire backing area of the badge. It's still on but if it gets nicked or flies off (which I doubt as it is really stuck fast) then i'll spend another whole tenner getting a new one. I would have to go through quite a few to have made it more expensive than buying the original kit.
