Problem is that as soon as you drive a new car off the forecourt you have already lost money on it. Just be glad you don't have a Focus ST to be trading in as they are said to be worth only 35% of the inital alue after 3 years! But Also the CTR is said to be about 52% after 3 years so your going to have the same issues no matter what car you buy really. Well unless its something that has a supply and demand issue, which then helps the residules on the second hand market.
