For me, top of the pile would be Rolls Royce and Bentley.
Once you get the Mercs and BMWs of this world making the A class and 1 series respectively, you can tell they are actually trying to go downmarket rather than the Honda's going upmarket. The A2 was a fantastic car though. My friend has an X reg one and its a 1.2 diesel, superb fuel economy and made from aluminium! Great car.
