It all depends on where you drive and how you drive. I don't use it to work so I don't tend to sit in stop/start traffic meaning I can get a better mpg sticking to the speed limits. I don't know about others but there are quite a few speed cameras, fixed and adverage near me. Not to mention that Lothian and Borders police have recently up'd their unmarked cars on the roads in order to catch folk speeding, not wearing seatbelts and using mobile phones whilst driving. I would rather be safe than sorry.
