I think this has already been done you know, I think there is a picture on here already where someone has a box installed under one of the rear seats.
For me this wouldn't be an option as I regularly fold the rear seats flat, but it is an option for some.
I have a 12" sub from my previous car waiting to be fitted to my Civic once I get around to it. It is a shame I felt the need to have a spare wheel as the space under the boot floor is an idea amp location area, but having as spare is of more importance.
