How does the license plate system work in your country?? Does any of the number denote age of the vehicle or location??

I was really surprised to hear you say it is a geniune plate.

Bet you cant beat this numberplate
Swedish number plates are generally 3 letters and 3 numbers, no geographical location or indication of year. However the last digit indicates the month the car requires a vehicle inspection, I am not sure what happens if it is needed for inspection in Nov or Dec. Some letter combinations are not accepted (around 150) like UFO, XXL.

You can apply for a personalised number plate (similar to the UK) of any combination of numbers and letters up to 7 digits as long as it is not offensive. Like the UK you need to get in there quick for your plate. The other big difference is that the personalised number plate is an alias to a standard number plate assigned to the car so in effect your car will have 2 plates.
