Might not be relevent with Hondas,but the reason I enquired whether petrol or diesel is that historically petrol cars employed a vacuum servo unit served by the inlet manifold to give powered assistance to the brake pedal.
Diesel cars do'nt have the same inlet manifold and have(had) to rely on a seperate vacuum pump to assist the brake pedal.
This may result in a different brake performance and feel between 1.8's and 2.2's ??
