Can i join the club?
I've been looking round for a few weeks (nissan Qashqai, ford focus etc) and today i've just ordered a
NHB 2.2 i-CTDi Type S - would have gone for the GT but even with the seat at the lowest position i could only sit in it with the sun roof cover open
. After a little haggle with a local dealer i managed to get it about a hundred under the what car price - £16150 (metalic paint, standard stuff - tank of gas, usual honda aa cover etc). Obviously no where near something like DriveTheDeal but i'm happy and impressed with the dealership/salespeople, any opinions on the deal? Supposedly i'll be picking it up on the 23rd - i'm assured this is being built and hasn't been standing grazing in a field somewhere! Seems pretty quick - i hope those robots are having a good day!
I didn't go for over carperts as i seem to be one of those people that attracts static shocks - anyone know what the honda rubber mats are like? Are they worth the premium or is it gonna be a halfords job? Also is the space saver spare wheel worth it? Anyone here got one/used one? I'm also going to replace the horn with something a bit more beefy, and maybe upgrade the beams - any good suggestions for these?
