Indeed. I have done that one myself but the issue with a
CTR is the oil viscosity is soooo thin that you can hardly see it on the dip stick when cold never mind when warm!
I would rather do it when cold then I know that i'm doing as instructed by Honda and then if there is an issue with the engine I can be sure that i've followed what they've said. How you would prove that to Honda UK is another matter. Probably by starting off by advising that you have read pages 369 of the handbook, always check when cold etc, etc.
Infact this has just reminded me that I want to check my Oil levels before I take the car out again
