rang them back an explained i wasnt happy, they said theyll look into it again and get back to me? they did and said that the paints fine and theres nothing they can do. they suggested i claim on my insurance? still no happy and was going to write in but i will just get the same result in the end, a big fat nothing from honda.
ive got the milano red 1.8 sport, 5 door and had it 7-8 months now. a car this young should not have things like this happening to it, yeah a 7 year old car perhaps, but in this day and age of technology it shouldnt happen.
any suggestions what i can do next? was going to trade it back in and go elsewhere but do love the car though.
cheers

Cars get stone chips. If one hits your windscreen then its probably going to bounce onto the roof. If it does and it does at speed then it will more than likely chip the roof.
Honda state that you should inspect the car for chips and touch up/ fill these in with a touch up stick. This will then stop rust forming.
Stone chips are part of life. There is really nothing than can be done about them unless you want to drive on grass. I like youself and many others have a stone chip in the roof. I wouldn't expect Honda to respray a car or the roof just for that!
Sorry but its life! And no matter what the car there will always be this problem.
