Talking to the service guy he said that the clutch plate was worn on one side but not on the other and that they suspected the pressure plate so they have replaced the clutch and pressure plate. I asked him about the flywheel and the guy said its not a dual mass flywheel on the civic and the flywheel on my car was ok. I guess the pressure plate could have not been flat with the clutch which wore it out but i didnt really notice any juddering till the clutch started to slip. I wonder if its the thing that the others have got. Could be a bad batch of pressure plates.
just replaced my clutch after it started slipping at 24k...but only when car loaded up(4/5 occupants)...oh yeah, and it was under warranty.pretty sure it was because the clutch cover surface was not flat when checked with a straight edge.seems fine now.
