Went to the dealers, but they knew nothing about the problem at hand. Unfortunately, the boot decided to work when the car was in.
They were hinting I should drop by, again, when it fails and make an appoinment. I asked them they'd look into the matter and gave them the part number Scorcher kindly supplied. I look it up in the Honda EPC, thus also giving them the correct part number for the Type R.
I hope it doesn't take weeks and weeks before it comes in. Scorcher, was there any damage to your door panel after replacement? And additional rattles?
Time for me to wait it out now
