I use BP ultimate Diesel 'fairly' often, normally when I notice the price difference to Normal Diesel is not so high.

Anyway, in my Golf 2.0 Gt Tdi, the engine is definitely smoother, quieter, has quicker response. But, the main difference is that the mpg improves anywhere between 3 - 6 mpg. I notice that it is when the engine is cold, or when driving in towns that the ultimate seems to give better mpg.

Works for me, and with the mpg figures being better then there is little or no difference in the cost.
