This probably means that a lot of air is going in the various holes of the structure. I will have to try to put foam & tape where I can to suppress the "grant organ" effect of the bars.

I also regret not getting the non Honda bars as Thule do not use the fix points that Honda provided and I find my bars can move backwards a little in use.
Thinking back, I had exactly the same whistle sound as you describe when I was using cheaper cross bars on a Zafira with std roof rails
