Had my Type R for just over a month now.
The coolant has always sat just above the MIN level so I thought today I would take a trip to my nearest Honda Dealer to get a top up bottle as I would rather it at the MAX level.
I asked for the Honda All Season Antifreeze/Type 2 Coolant ( as in Handbook ). When I got home I looked at the bottle and it said Pro Honda HP Coolant. I phoned them up to query this and they said it was the only antifreeze they use in all their cars and it will be fine.
Did a search on the internet and Pro Honda Coolant is only for sale in Motor bike stores Can anyone shed some light on this?
The Coolant they gave me is 50/50 premixed and is Silicate free.
