This is what is in Auto Express - not the facelift but the next gen.

I do have to say that I like from the front and the sides but the back end is like an Alfa!!!! And I love this: 'Hot hatch fans will also be well catered for, as a Type R flagship is in the works, powered by a 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine which, given Honda’s five-year hybrid plan, could be boosted by an electric motor. This would make it the world’s first hybrid hot hatch!' A hot hatch Hybrid......they'd still tax it to the High heavens |

time to Chill - ChillTypeR and listen to what the rest of us are saying to you Each generation of civic currently has a lifespan of approximatly 5 - 6 year come the start of thethird year of production they normally give it a facelift. At this stage what they are going to do no one really knows it is a waiting game that we all have to play. Yes there are other sources of info out there if you know where to look but at the moment there is nothng to report and there may be nothing until Honda themselves reveal the facelifted car ( they are extremely good at keeping things under wraps) This info in the mag is about the next generation - not the facelift of the current generation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks nice, just not a special as the current model. I hope its out in 2010, I change cars again in 2011 and will have plenty of time to test it.

Front and sides are great, but the back end looks like an Alfa or day I say it a Fiat (same anyway really). Hybrid Type R sounds good, but the CRX is looking much much better than the Civic
My plan was to get the Type R and then get the CRX when its released |

Looks OK to me.
I wonder what type of suspension they are going for this time around, and, are they continuing with the i-shift ? Hypothetical really because I will be looking at the Hybrid first. |
