question in regards to the CTR

all the extras will only be on a "special edition CW GT", so if you were to get a milano GT you would get what we get now ?

Aw well can't say I'm too bothered by the new model... still prefer my own by far!

The Type-S has been the winner here!

All of these changes implemented on the CW CTR, are they also going to be standard equipment on other CTRs, the NHB, Milano red and Silver 2009 models?

Or the CW is now certainly a special edition? Read plenty more= $$$

The 5-door is worse (although the rear light cluster looks better)

The CTR is more or less unchanged ...

The Type S is much improved looks-wise ! ...

I think the black Type-S looks very smart.

Not keen on the new Type-R style dash.

What's the button next to the i-Shift lever for?

Apprently this will be the next Civic in 2009 ??
2009 HONDA CIVIC CONCEPT

Click the image to open in full size.

These images are of possibly the next Honda Civic. The biggest change will be the diesel engine option. The new car will be much larger, about as big as the previous model Accord. The next Civic will have a 140-hp, 1.8-Liter, 16-Valve SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine,5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The price will be upped about $25,000-$34,990 for the Diesel.

More information will appear soon. Expect to see the 2009 Civic Concept at NAIAS 2008. And see at showrooms late 2008, as a 2009 model.

I,m confussed ???

Having now read the whole thing and looked at the pictures:

Auto Box - Big Yes (wonder what the mpg and Co2 will be?)
Improved seat fabrics - Yes
USB - Yes
Dashboard plastics - Yes

No change to suspension - Big No
No upgraded SatNav (cameras) - No

That front grille - not a showstopper

Just waiting for the Hybrid line up for 2010 plus the next gen Civic.

Actually ...

If I was buying soon, I'd probably be very happy with the new 5-Door EX ...

BUT - I'd definitely want the rear bumper and front grill from the Type S ! ...

(Or - perhaps preferably - fit the original 'cylon-look' perspex ?) ...

TBH, I think the new facelifts look cheap and nasty................ oh, nad wWTF are they doing putting a 1.4 in a CTS?????????????? It's like having a 1.4 CTR, pointless, and just done so 17 year olds have something they can modify

TBH, I'm glad I have one of the Original lot, not the tacky "Blinged out" 'next gen', TBH the new Type S grill is hideous, and looks incredibly tacky, what with the silver surroundy bit on it? Why not just use the same grill as the R????

A bit yes, those standard alloys I agree, look cheap. But I think the CW would look much different with splitters and 19'' Rage alloys. Much better

Who said the seat fabrics are improved, they are different, but not necessarily better.....

Yes, the rages and splitters would help, but white will date very quickly.

Seems to be the new fad colour at the moment, but will soon fade away again.

I believe there will be another optional 19" alloy for the white type r.

Has anyone got any opics of these?
