A baboon in a suit designed it after a liquid lunch. That's the prevailing theory!

Dreadful!

There was once a Baboon in a suit,
Who's bum was as bald as a coot,
He crept out of his den,
And armed with a pen,
He put the Civic's sharp looks to the boot!

You sure do love dangling your carrots!

I am very curious to hear what you have to say! Roll on the 12th

Presumabley you will be paying close attention to any build quality improvements...

Because Honda only use that colour on Type R cars.

I feel sorry for you Dan, you'll have one hell of a job trying to shift the monstrous 5 door!

Just hope when I order my next car in April 2011 that the next gen Civic is better looking. There's no way on earth I'd drive the facelifted 5 door!

Dont actually think that the grill on the new 5 door is that bad.

The new type S is the R type grill with a light silver edge to the grill rather than the dark silver edge to it.

The Type R isnt any difference other than its upgrades.

Then I have the easy bit. Compare it to its 'competitors' in the market place. its still better than most. You all know, you all own one.

You know what, funnily enough I am with you on this one Dan, I actually quite like it!
And am also pleased with the upgrades on the EX GT.
Am starting to think about changing my 56 plate next year, and I would happily buy another civic!

That seat fabric/door trim (pics 6/7/8 ) is what the Type S currently has - suede type edges to the seats, and black with silver dots in the middle.

I love the old front, it was what attracted me to the care. I don't like the new one at all. But I don't suppose my opinion will bother Honda too much.

Don't be too sure ... Honda do seem to take cognisance of this Forum's feedback (at least, some of it) ! ...

When many owners say they love their Civic, but hate one particular feature - well, even the really dumb will eventually take heed ...

And yes, MANY of us (including me) simply detest the "Drunken Baboon's Nostrils" on the facelift 5-door !!! ...
