Real photos of the 2009 Civic

Attached are a load of photos of the new cars, as well as some new stock photos from Honda.

I can't write about how they all drive until the embargo ends on 1/12, but I will say that there are some significant surprises, and I'll be saying things I never thought I would say!

Here you go:

Roll on the 1st December then

That Up/Down S/A looks interesting.

Seat fabrics look like they are easier to keep looking pristine.

So what's Pottsy going to say............they have tweaked the suspension to almost acceptable?

Also - I got in before Wheelchair

Like the first three pictures, I take it the Type-S is to double up as a bus!

Love the new Type-S, Love the Type-R, standard Civic is absolutely awful IMO.

I like that i-Shift idea, as it stands at the moment to have to change to 'M' to see what gear the car has chosen, and back to 'A' again.

Although there are a few changes across the range, am I right in thinking the only change to the type-R is the new championship white one ?

Or are there a few other changes in store ?

May explain why a list price GT model can be acquired for Ј16,500 at present when the list price is Ј19,500 !!

Silly question but why do you need to know what gear the car has chosen whilst in auto mode ??

I guess it's the same reason you need to know what station it is you're listening to on the radio

Nice touch I think knowing what gear your in whilst in auto.

I'm also interested to not the photo near the bottom of the inside of the car taken from the side with the door open and the key in the ignition...........does that mean they've stopped the constant beeping?

They've probably installed a new beep to remind you that they've removed the old beep!

I'm loving the Orange, it looks so good colour coded. The new blue colour is rather nice too, not too different from Royal Blue Pearl.

Not sure what the fabric in the standard Civics is like at the moment, but the stuff there looks very similar to the Type R which is a pain to keep clean cause you get stuff in all the little holes etc.

There is ALWAYS tweaks within the range every year. Last yeat it was things like the floor plan and the way the mats are anchored along with where the hight adjuster was locted under the steering wheel (had prev been at the side). Type R will be getting HIDs, reversing sensors that can be turned off and the Aux Socket so I believe and then there will be the Champ White which has not been confirmed if it will be limited edition of not yet as Honda want to see what th demand is like.

From October you always seem to get bigger bargains as its been the end of October/Start November that the next years models have been released so they need to shift the pervious years models and nice discounts help with that. Also depending on the demand for that car in that area also factors. Some dealers will offer little discounts as they have more demand for a certian car than some other dealers throught the country have and not everyone will use the web and shop around.
