Hey,

I've had plenty of cars before, but never really bothered with polishing/waxing, other than using coloured t-cut polishes to coverup minor scratches etc.

I've just bought a civic hybrid in silver, and really want to look after the paintwork this time. Where do I start - what products should I be thinking about, and which are relatively easy to get started with? I read that collinite should be applied in straight lines, so does this rule out a circular polishing machine from halfords, etc?

Any advice appreciated.
