Then again, a base 5 series starts at nearly £26k (rising to about £64k). So I guess if you're spending that sort of money (and with the price of most BMW options anyway), it's unlikely to cause too much of a stir.

On the other hand the Civic range tops out at £18.5k. And, for a new car that's designed to be stylistically head and shoulders above every other c-segment vehicle, it made no sense at all to release it without an aux input or i-Pod link (especially when even the Honda Jazz has had an aux in for several years).

As an aside, did the John Pease price include a discount for site users?
