I think you will find that they will say "thank for your interest" and then walk on to the next customer.
They don't
have to sell you one, if your not prepared to pay full amount I'm sure they wont mind not selling as loosing that much money on the sale is hardly an incentive for them to bargin is it? And why should they bargin anyway? Its not the dealer who set the price, its honda, why should the dealer take the hit on the cost?
It is a good idea though, I'm going to pop down my local dealer and ask them to sell me a set of 18" alloys for 50% off, and if they dont agree then hell, I'm not going to buy... see how they like them apples
