OK, Here we go:
The Speakers I have are Audio Design PTX 165. They are the lower wattage (60) one's as the head unit will not
drive anything bigger with any competence. The spacers are from 'Car sound supplies' (dealer supplier in Derby) and they are
for the Astra Van, part no: G198.
When you are fitting any new speakers it's vital to get the phase right or they'll sound awful. So test them before you screw 'em
back in! (not patronising, just an easy mistake that I've made a few times)
I'm toying with putting a tune-up sub in the boot to help with the base now....hmmmm.
