The idea of the lights (as Nick said) is to allow you to accelerate hard, letting the engine rev up to maximum, and just at maximum power you get a very quick 1-2-3 of lights that you should see in your peripheral vision telling you to change gear straight away. Thanks for that Pottsy...don't worry i just touched the accelerator quickly and they came on.....trouble is i do like to pretend i'm in an F1 car and i have never made them come on when i'm driving
I am just happy to know that they are working.....
