Remember head units are different between models. I know the basic unit on my Sport is different to those fitted to EX's.
If you can get the cubby hole flap off (just in front of the gear stick) you could easily get your hand behind the dash to fit a lead - asked how to get this flap off some time back, but never found a solution.
As for photos - a dash removal is necessary and I'm sure Pottsy has done this somewhere - searching now!
