Weak Bass now sorted! Also, pics of the back of the radio

Hi Guy's
After upgrading my front speakers I still felt there was something lacking in the bass department. After some research I decided to fit a tune up sub and went for the rather cool Alpine SWD-1600 (about £100 - £150 depending on outlet).
An extremely helpful and skilled chap at my local Halfords fitted it for me and let me take some pictures. Excuse the crap quality but I had to use the mobile.
As you can see, the central part of the dash that houses the radio is held in by 3 screws on top and 2 below. You can then pull out the whole radio and work on the back.
You will need to follow Pottsy's guide to get most of the dash off, then pop off the top cover that's under the sat nav screen and you're away.
I've included a pic of the side of the radio showing model number etc. in case this helps with an iPod solution.

By the way, The sound quality is amazing. I now have really cool bass from the Alpine, which is hidden away on the floor under the glove box. (still leaving plenty of room for passengers feet)

cheers
Roger
