Hi Sorry if this has been answered ** but could not find it elsewhere !
We have a new type s gt with satnav and ipod link.
works fine with Nano , connect 3 month old 60 gig video with latest software and just checked by ipod genius store; all it does is flash cd 9 in display . on ipod its all connected with honda logo but wont play .
Apple genius said could be firmware on car needs updating even though its new ! Has anyone heard of this , how did you deal with it? Any dealer staff know of a fix ?
BTW ipod works fine in dension kit in my car and in every other way including alpine kit in another car .
When we picked up the car they tried it in another and it did the same thats why I got it checked at apple store .
Funny though before we ordered we tried the same ipod in a demo with the link and it worked .
Hope you can see why Im confused !
