Thanks for your replies so far guys.
Well the first weekend with the new Civic is over and I've had some time to play with it properly over the last couple of days. What a cracking car.
First things I've noticed is the reaction from people (mates and family etc) who have seen one for the first time properly. Its funny as they all seem to have the same 'very impressed' and 'wow-factor' response when getting inside it. It certainly is a good looking motor.
To be totally honest, I wasn't 100% sure how I'd feel prior to Civic delivery going from a Cooper S which I'd had for a couple of years from new also. The Mini was certainly a fun car to drive, slightly different to everything else on the road in its segment and was very responsive as a drivers car. The Great thing is, thats three big ticks to the new Civic too
So its so far so good with no regrets. Spent today doing a fair drive in the new car and must say that the Civic is just as much fun as the MINI and so many more toys to play with

Loads more torque too. Want to try and run it in a bit first so not really stretched it, but can feel that there's plenty to come.
The biggest difference though at 6 foot 2 has to be the room, space, layout and overall comfort. Felt much more relaxed when arriving at my destination today as the car seemed to eat up the miles alot more effortlessly.
So one new happy Civic owner.
Bye for now. Joe
PS - Still got to do pics. Will try and do some this week (weather permitting)
