Don't rule out the diesel unless it's a cost thing. Try one, you might be surprised
Cruise control is great for the speed camera's, especially the ave speed ones. No fear of gradually getting too fast, especially at 40mph on a motorway.
I don't like dark colours as they just look dirty unless they're spotless and shiny. That'll be mine needing a wash again
