If you clean the wheels properly, maybe use the cleaner if necessary, polish them and give them a good coat of wax, you'll find that you'll never need to scrub the wheels again as the dirt will simply wipe off.
The Poorboys Wheel Sealant helps alot with this - it bonds to the wheels and stops stuff sticking and because it's designed for wheels, it can actually cope with hot brake dust being flung at it. This is where your normal car wax isn't as hard wearing or resistant to heat.
When it arrives, open the tub. It smells fantastic!

Ive read the review about both of the comma products dawson, the tyre shine is an aerosol spray thats supposed to last for weeks, quite sceptical seeing as the local car valeting places tyre shine doesnt last the journey home, as regards the alloy cleaner, well, im hoping the product testing and awards its won would meen its not corosive to the alloy, time will tell, like you said maybe give them the once over then seal them, hopefully a quick rub over now and again will keep them tip top...heard it smells good too.
