Thanks Kremmen - I went to a deccent place in Northampton but for obvious reasons as its still under warranty I want to see what Honda have to say.

At £145 a tyre retail I NEED better mileage. If they were disappearing purely due to my driving I would accept the consequences!

czechplastik Is it enthusiastic driving or do you believe there is a problem? My first 6K was heavy on my tyres and the tracking going out just after that finished them off. Now they are wearing about an extra 1mm on the inside in under 1000 miles.

I'm running 18" wheels - anybody else? What are the wear characteristics on yours?

BTW: the rears on the Civic aren't adjustable - unless you shim. Unlike the previous model!
