Sorry to keep harping on about the Lexus but until March I can only use them as a comparison.

The IS200 also has a factory problem with the geometry that can cause the front tyres inner edge to go with enthusiastic driving at about 8K miles.

I went to see Tony at STS Watford not long after I got the car and he put it on his computer geo diagnostic. All the angles came up 'red' on the display.

Tony reset the whole thing and I am currently on 32K on my original Dunlop SP9000 tyres.

At the last service the rears had 5mm left whilst the fronts were down to 3mm, which at 32K is OK with me.
