I've already got the polycarb. plus i think that the glass lenses will break anyway, sooner or later. I'm pretty confident that they'll be replaced under warranty when Honda see the error of their ways.

I don't deny though that protectors may give an extra level of insurance from stone chips, I just don't think that stone chips are the main culprit in many cases.

So, in the meantime, I'll re-lense the fogs in 4mm hard coated polycarbonate.
