On the models I haveseeen and driven the Sport foot resti is black plastic, and the pedals are aluminium. its a real shame they didn't finish it off and put them all aluminium.

I was considering getting a sport, but now am hankering after an EX!
I asked the stealer if you could get the alu foot rest seperatly and he was pretty certain that parts would be able to get it.
I'm sure that on other areas of the forum, "look what I got for Christmas" is the title some one got a full set up Alu covers.
List price for the lot is about £120 so I would have thought that you should be able to just get the alu foot rest for about £35 ata gues..
