Interesting, I never knew that, always thought they were powered.

Might be why mine wouldn't return to flush this morning.
I cleaned a de-frosted the washer nozzles once I got to work to get the windscreen a quick spray to get rid of the road grime. However the windscreen nozzles froze again almost straight away (despite a winter mix of washer fluid) and after that the light washers would not return to totally flush (Passenger side was sitting about 3/4mm out, drivers side 2mm).

I'm guessing that the frozen main washers let the pressure build slightly and this back pressure kept the light nozzles out? I will try again at lunch time and if the nozzles still sit proud instead of returning to flush I will give my dealer a call as there might be an "error"
