Thanks to all who replied.
I have contacted a nokia service center and they have said that a firmware upgrade "might" sort out the issues im having. Im currently running version 3.49.2 and the latest version is 5.something. As the phone is out of warranty this is going to cost me £20.
Im now in 2 minds as whether to go ahead or not. Has anyone else had similar problems and resolved it with a firmware upgrade?
