I find this interesting as when i first started to get interested in the i shift i did quite a lot of asking different dealers and Honda UK if the i shift was to be the civics only auto type box as other car manufacturers had tryed these and had moved away from them and as i did not want to be left with a car come sale time that no one wants and that even Honda had drop ed in all cases the reply to my questions was that Honda had no plans to produce any other auto for the civic as they where totally committed to this system for economy and omissions and in fact intended to produce there other cars with this box ? and when i asked if any further mapping improvements for the box where coming i was informed that no the techs had got it as good as it gets for power ,emissions ,and economy so if this is to change i hope it can be retrospective to our older models otherwise i would feel that Honda was once again finding they had made a design error put it right but had no concern for the other i shift customers and would leave them high and dry as when you came to sell, it would be a case of don't buy the i shift model before a certain date so lets hope we are not forgotten
