Isn't the point the fact that the dealerships appear to be unable to sort the problems out - even those with the common faults like fuel filler cap are finding the replacements fail after time.

My friends and colleagues who have had their cars for
10 months
7 months
&
6 Months
all found the dealers to be extremley helpful - yes the ones with filler cap were a bit miffed at having to go back more than once to the dealer but knew that they had an all new model and this was one of its teething problems.
A colleague from work had to have her car's front and rear shocks replaced as they were making a bit of a racket - but since the work has been done she has not had any other problems
These are 3 Happy civic owners.
I have said it before and I will say it again the owners with problem civics are in the minority ( The fuel Filler cap and Shocks issue may have been a little more widespread but that can be put down to the all new model) as for other issues some people have experienced with their cars -I have never disputed that Honda should have done more for those people with problem cars but you must realise that a high percentage of civic owners are over the moon ( say 95%) maybe more maybe less without speaking to all Civic owners it is hard to say but I dont think that figure can be far out
