although there is some debate about whether or not the top speed is
also limited by an artificially low rev limit coming in
for 6th gear only 
but yes, definately a rev limiter in place on all gears to stop you bouncing pistols off valves
It's a fairly 'hard' limiter too - you'll definately know if you hit it
