Yup, been back to the dealer, the sales manager was a little flushed looking when I met him, I think he'd been tipped off about the discussion I was to have with him..... Anyway to cut a long story short.....
I did know that I'd got a good deal with the civic, no 2 ways about it, this was confrimed when I was shown the sales invoice the dealer paid for the civic and he was'nt making much on my deal at all.
The prices for the additional alloys + tyres"17 = £650 are discounted by Honda, they are not the true prices dealers pay for them but this apparently is made up within the car deals. In my case the full price of the alloys £840 + VAT was passed onto me, as he said " we did'nt make anything on the car sale and we were not going to make a loss on the alloy's as well"
