Hardly any. Also, if I try to reproduce it, I can't get it to happen - it just seems to happen occassionally. Which makes it all the more worrying as I'm sure the garage will say there is nothing wrong - but there is a very high probability that it will happen again.

My hunch is maybe a particular tooth on the ratchet is dodgy and if it lands on that one, it may be more likely to slip.

I agree about comments that if you pull it up on the ratchet, the feedback through the handle suggests that the teeth aren't very big, although it is hardly a scientific test.

It's going in tomorrow morning so I will let you know what they find (if anything)
