I just got rid of my 1997 1.5 LSi saloon. It normally took 2 or 3 seconds to start, no matter what the weather, but it always started 1st time.

Then, when I was selling her but enjoying the Type S the dealer lent me before my own new car arrived, she sat for a couple of weeks unstarted.... everybody say ahh for the lonely old '97 Civic.

Of course the battery was shafted, but after a full days charge, bang, the car started not just 1st time but the moment the key turned. Either she was trying to tell me she still had some love left to give or she just needed a full battery charge!
