I today discovered a new feature of the car. Whilst driving home on a winding country lane just exiting a hairpin bend and accelerating out I noticed a bird swoop low just in front of me. Didn't hear anything go clunk so thought nothing of it and carried on my way.
Arriving home I noticed something moving in the breeze sticking out of the front lower honeycomb grill. On closer inspection I found that the bird had not got away with it afterall and it was a little robin's head sticking out of the grill.
I reckon I was doing about 55 when I hit it so unsurprisingly it was dead although it looked relatively undamaged, just looked like it had been sucked in arse first leaving it's head poking out.
For those of you still reading at this point here's punchline! In it's beak was a tiny worm still alive and squirming about so although I was sad to kill the bird I inadvertedly saved the worm
Anyone else used the advanced bird killing worm saving device (front mesh grill) yet??
