missfire

I‘ve had no problems with my 2.2 so far (touch wood) however I did have something similar with my previous Peugeot 407. Symptoms were an occasional ‘misfire’ (if that’s the correct term for a diesel) whilst accelerating after previously slowing down for a roundabout. It was more persistent if I was diving enthusiastically. Turned out I had a fracture in a fuel pipe where it joined the filter – Air in the fuel giving the hesitation. – Took several visits to the dealers as “it works for us fine” been the standard reply. After two no starts and 2 AA reports stating there was air in the fuel system the car was finally fixed. Suggestion would be to check where the manual prime pump is (you’ll need this to re-prime the system) if you have a no start and to check or get checked all the fuel in /out connectors.

Hoper this helps?
