I've ask around me to know how many puncture/severe puncture/destroy tyres people have met during they driving life. For the younger one (less than 30...) most of them no puncture at all, some with one or two... The older one may have had more puncture, but have seen an huge improvement the last 10 years with no or one minor puncture...
I'm maybe wrong but reading this thread it may occure that puncture risk is higher on UK roads ... It's a feeling I've no figures to prove it.

I've ask my dealer what will do Honda assist in this case. He told me that they must do whatever possible is to allow us to carry on our trip. Ok in case of very bad luck (destroying your tyre at 3:00 AM in the middle of nowhere) They take you to an hotel untill your car is repaired... maybe not the best solution but against it's a quastion of statistic. Zero risk dont exist so we have to live with
