Don't have a dog, but I have leather seats.
The backs of the rear seats are not leather - seem the same as the boot floor. The backs of the front seats are leather & hard plastic.
The heated seats are only in the front & are great for helping my aching back.
The cruise control I find particularly handy on 30/40mph roads. I can keep my eyes on the road & what is going on around me instead of worrying about going over the limit.
