Fly with the Army Air Corps - great fun - especially when they deliberately drop a few thousand feet out the sky to take a closer look at the ground.
I flew with Thai air and was most disconcerted to see how glibly they went through the life jacket drill - it was over in seconds. Yes I know its not going to help much at 30,000 ft but all the same I was flying over a lot of water and landing at an airport by the sea.
Some tips
Sit near a door - pref within 7 rows and near the wings
Wear your seat belt all the time and know how to release it
Count the number of rows to the nearest exit.
Better if you don't have a row of seats directly in front of you
(and other bits I cant remember)
