I-shift -what is actually changed??

Hi all,

I was at the main office and technical centre of Honda in the Netherlands yesterday and had a nice chat with a technician about i-shift and what the changes are.
He told me the adjustment that has been made is a very simple one. Then driving automatic it used to shift at an rpm which made the car as economicly as possible (around 2000rpm) but they felt this was to soon and also comments from drivers made this more clear. The change of gears now takes place at 3000rpm and that's also the reason it's less econmical.

Hopefully this provides some people with some answers on what the changes are.

Regards, Brummer
